ID. Card
Ever give thought to a member
of your camping group needing help and no one has any idea who you are
or if anyone knowing you is in the local area and how to contact you.
A simple ID card can take care of those issues.
When RV'ing every person in
your group should carry an ID card. I have found the best way for
us is to print up business size cards on the computer. Some information
can be fully printed and blank spaces can be left to be filled in when
you arrive at your campground. If you carry a cell phone include
the number on the card, the name of the campground, your site number.
This is especially important if you have children who could wander off
or get hurt playing away from you or your RV. Adults sometimes one
will jump in the car and go to the gas station or the store. We carry
the cards in our pocket. For children it may be that you will have
to pin the card to there shirt. List any important health information
on the card. I have included a sample of the card we carry below.
You can customize your own card for your needs. There are some great low
cost Business card programs around or maybe find a free one to download.
I use a program called Visual Business Cards.
Here's my sample card.
I like to use bright color card
stock, the back side is blank so you can write more info on the reverse
side if necessary. I print up 50 to 100 cards at a time, keep them
in the RV, then just use a new card when needed at each new campground
It's just to give you an idea,
make yours to suit your needs
Remember you can leave a blank line and fill in the
information later or any information that will not
change can be printed on the card.
