Sewer cap drain aid
A very easy low cost project to end an old problem
See pictures Below
Have you ever removed your end cap on your dump pipe only to find a flood
of water???The usual cause of this is because at the last dump station the
rig was not sloped to let all the remaining water in the pipe run out.
As you travel the rig moves around and allows that remaining water to
flow to the low end of the pipe, that being right at the cap.  The
other cause is a leaking valve and you should rebuild the valve in this case.

This fix will work on both horizontal and vertical dump pipes.

First purchase a end cap with a fitting for a standard garden hose will
screw on to. You can find these at almost any RV center.  Next
purchase a shut off valve that will screw on to the cap fitting.
These can be found at almost any store that carries lawn and garden
supplies.  Screw the shut off valve to the hose threadon the cap.
Place the cap on the end of the dump pipe.  That easy your done.

How to use

When you at the dump station and ready to empty the tanks, first insert
your dump hose in the dump station access hole as normal.
Next hold the end of the flex hose under valve opening and open the
shut off valve, allowing any water trapped in the outlet to
drain.  Next remove the cap as you normally would and dump.
It may sound like an added step, but for me it sure beats
the surprise of getting wet.
